From an Article by EcoWatch, September 6, 2013

In two separate Segments of this Shale Truth interview with Cornell University Professor Anthony Ingraffea, the Delaware Riverkeeper, Maya van Rossum, speaks with Dr. Ingraffea about shale gas extraction and serious concerns for our future.

Dr. Ingraffea examines the various types of environmental problems caused by fracking, stating that the inevitable leaking of a large percentage of gas wells will cause most of the ecological issues that arise.

Segment 1. In this interview segment Cornell University Professor Anthony Ingraffea discusses how his connection to the Delaware River watershed led him to investigate and speak about the environmental damage caused by shale gas extraction.

Segment 2. In this segment Cornell University Professor Anthony Ingraffea describes the extent of the threat shale gas extraction represents to Pennsylvania’s environment. Ingraffea also examines the various types of environmental problems caused by the process.
